Refundable Security Deposit
When booking a cabin, we do not charge cleaning fees, but each guest agrees to pay a refundable security deposit to cover potential cleaning or repair fees.
This deposit will be refunded once:
In the event of any damage requiring repairs over time, all associated costs will be billed to the person responsible for the cabin reservation.
A notice of compensation will be sent, and payment must be made within 30 days of receiving this notice. If payment is not received within this period, interest of 2% per month will be applied starting from the date the notice was sent.
Anyone making a reservation is required to report any issues or damage to the Hébergement Gosford administrator upon arrival, in writing, along with pictures.
If a reservation is cancelled 30 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, the full amount of the prepaid balance will be refunded to the guest. This provides travellers with flexibility while allowing us sufficient time to rebook the chalet.
If the cancellation is made between 7 and 29 days before the scheduled arrival date, 50% of the prepaid balance will be refunded. The remaining half will be retained to cover administrative and preparation costs related to the reservation.
For any cancellation made less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, no refund will be issued. Due to the short notice, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to rebook the chalet within that timeframe.
The cleaning deposit will be fully refunded if the cancellation is made no later than the day before the scheduled arrival date. If the cancellation occurs after this deadline, the cleaning deposit will be retained.
